What led you to create ExcellAir?

“I’ve spent over seven years in the flight simulation industry. What began as a personal passion quickly became a professional journey, as I started collaborating with industry players on advanced training tools such as flight simulators. Over time, I developed custom software technologies tailored for flight simulators and other aviation training tools. Solutions that my team and I at ExcellAir have refined to serve the needs of our clients with precision and reliability.”

What makes your vision unique?

“My passion lies in aviation, technology, and excellence — and yes, I’ve always admired the timeless discipline of watchmaking. These values "precision, innovation, and transmission" are also at the heart of the aviation industry. With ExcellAir, I wanted to build solutions that would meet the highest professional standards, while remaining accessible and tailored to those who truly care about quality. I also wanted to give the access to these professionals solutions to passionate people like a racing car manufacturer might create a street-legal vehicle using the same standards as its track version. So, also offering professional-grade simulation solutions to home users, without compromising on quality or service.”

Who is ExcellAir for?

“ExcellAir was created for professionals around the world who seek smarter, more innovative training solutions, whether for aircraft maintenance or pilot preparation. We also work closely with clients in emerging markets, where we see both challenges and strategic opportunities to strengthen aviation ecosystems. And of course, ExcellAir is also for passionate individuals (novice or expert) who value precision, great software, and impeccable service, all delivered with the care and craftsmanship of a Swiss-made timepiece.”

We manufacture all our metal structures, frames and other key components in the heart of the Jura, the cradle of Swiss horological craftsmanship. Assembly and testing are done on site in Switzerland too. Every element is verified, adjusted, and calibrated manually, following the same quality philosophy as high-end watchmaking with our own quality label.

7 years of learning in the simulation industry

In aviation, cost management is everything. With acquisition costs rising and margins tighter than ever, we learned how to deliver highly realistic and precise simulators that are sustainable and efficient for professional training.

Our team worked closely with professionals and operators in markets where access to affordable training is extremely limited, especially for aircraft maintenance technicians. Too often, airlines rely on expensive Full Flight Simulators with limited slots, expensive hourly costs and zero adaptability.

Over the time, we’ve built systems that are cost-conscious, modular, and tailored. And most importantly: our software evolves constantly, updated based on real feedback from pilots, technicians, and instructors.
